Not for profit organization KOTBA Korea Telematics Business Association) was
established to boost up telematics industry and to standardize telematics
technologies and services in September 2003. KOTBA has about 60 members
including automakers, telecommunication companies, terminal manufacturers,
contents providers and other telematics related companies, research centers and
universities which are the leaders of telematics industry. Korea has the firm
infrastructure of information and communication network, automobile industry,
and high level of digitizing for telematics industry development. With these
advantages, the activities of KOTBA to lead global telematics industry are as
